Der kanadische Thrash-Metal-Import Nummer 1 ist die Band Annihilator um Vollblut-Riffmonster, Teilzeit-Sänger und Grimassenschneider Jeff Waters, die seit dem unsterblichen Klassiker "Alice in Hell", dem bis dahin erfolgreichstem Debut-Album auf dem Roadrunner-Label, kontinuierlich erstklassige Scheiben ohne nennenswerte Ausfälle abliefert, obwohl permanent Label- und vor allem Sänger-Probleme einen wachsenden Erfolg mit eklatanter Hartnäckigkeit zu verhindern wissen.

Bewundernswert ist Jeff Waters' Ruf, auch vor nahezu leeren Hallen 100% Leistung und Engagement zu bringen. Daran könnten sich viele gelangweilte und dementsprechend langweilige "Superstars" hin und wieder ruhig eine gehörige Scheibe abschneiden...
