Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden ist die Vorzeigeband der damaligen New Wave of British Heavy Metal, die als einzige wirklich erfolgreich den Sprung in das 21. Jahrhundert geschafft hat. Nachdem die Eisernen Jungfrauen in den 80ern ein Meisterwerk nach dem anderen abgeliefert hatten, machten sich in den 90ern erste Verschleißerscheinungen bemerkbar. Am 2000er Output "Brave New World" zeigt sich, dass Iron Maiden mit einem gut aufgelegtem Bruce Dickinson als Frontmann nach wie vor am stärksten agieren.

Die beiden ersten Werke mit Paul Di'Anno bleiben aber nach wie vor Kult.
